- Know the common imperial units: inch, foot, mile; pound, ounce; pint, gallon.
- Use the approximations 1 inch ≈ 2.5 cm, 1 foot ≈ 30 cm, 1 mile ≈ 1.6 km, 1 kg ≈ 2.2 lb, 1 pint ≈ 570 ml.
