1. Who You Are Contracting With
These terms are between you and NeurofiED Ltd, a private limited company registered in England and Wales with company number 16559304. Our registered office is 71-75 Shelton Street, Covent Garden, London, United Kingdom, WC2H 9JQ.
If a learner is under 18, the contract is with the parent, guardian, or educator who creates, purchases, or manages access. The child is allowed to use NeurofiED under that adult's supervision.
2. The NeurofiED Services
NeurofiED currently includes:
- the NeurofiED website and public learning resources;
- the web learning platform, including lessons, tests, progress tracking, student areas, educator tools, and AI study support where available;
- NeurofiED Lite, a mobile app focused on daily, weekly, and monthly recurring tests, scores, streaks, lightweight insights, optional notifications, and routes into the full web platform.
NeurofiED Lite is a lighter app product. A Mobile Lite subscription does not automatically include the full paid web platform unless we state otherwise in the checkout or promotional terms.
3. Accounts And Eligibility
- You must provide accurate account information and keep it up to date.
- You must keep login credentials secure and tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorised access.
- Parents, guardians, and educators are responsible for supervising children's use of NeurofiED.
- You may not share paid access outside your household or authorised organisation.
4. Acceptable Use
You must not:
- copy, scrape, resell, publish, or commercially exploit NeurofiED content or software;
- attempt to bypass subscriptions, app entitlements, security controls, rate limits, or access restrictions;
- submit unlawful, harmful, abusive, or misleading content;
- use AI study support to generate content that is illegal, abusive, unsafe, or outside educational use;
- interfere with the availability, integrity, or security of the service.
5. Subscriptions, Billing, And App Stores
- Web platform subscriptions are normally billed through Stripe.
- NeurofiED Lite app subscriptions are normally bought through Apple App Store or Google Play and entitlement status may be managed through RevenueCat.
- Web subscriptions and Mobile Lite subscriptions are separate unless a checkout page or promotion expressly says otherwise.
- Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled before renewal.
- Prices, taxes, trial periods, and included features are shown at checkout or in the relevant app store listing.
If you bought through an app store, cancellation and refund requests usually need to be managed through that store's account, subscription, and refund processes. We do not receive or store your full card details for Stripe, Apple, or Google Play transactions.
6. Cancellation, Refunds, And Consumer Rights
You can cancel a recurring subscription at any time. Cancellation usually takes effect at the end of the current paid period, unless the checkout, app store, or applicable law gives you a different right.
UK consumer law may give consumers rights in relation to digital content and distance contracts. Where you ask us to provide digital content or platform access immediately, you may lose a statutory cancellation right once supply begins, to the extent permitted by law.
We may provide refunds or credits where required by law, where the service was materially unavailable due to our fault, or where we decide a refund is appropriate. App-store purchases are subject to the relevant store's refund rules and processes.
7. Educational Content And No Exam Guarantee
NeurofiED is an educational support tool. We aim to provide useful, age-appropriate learning and test practice, but we do not guarantee any exam result, school place, score improvement, or specific educational outcome.
Parents, guardians, educators, and learners remain responsible for exam choices, preparation decisions, and checking requirements set by exam boards, schools, or local authorities.
8. AI Study Support
AI study-support features may use third party AI models. AI can make mistakes, miss context, or produce unsuitable answers. AI output should be treated as study support, not a definitive answer or professional advice.
You should not enter sensitive personal information, confidential information, or anything unnecessary into AI prompts. We may monitor AI use for safety, quality, and abuse prevention.
9. Tests, Results, Streaks, And Rankings
Test results, percentages, streaks, weak-topic signals, and anonymous cohort rankings are intended to support learning. They may be affected by test availability, scoring rules, late submissions, connectivity, data sync, or product changes.
NeurofiED Lite rankings are lightweight, anonymous motivation features. They are not official exam rankings and should not be treated as definitive measures of ability.
10. Intellectual Property
NeurofiED content, software, lesson materials, test items, illustrations, designs, trademarks, branding, and platform features are owned by or licensed to NeurofiED Ltd. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the service for personal, household, or authorised educational use while you have valid access.
You may not copy, publish, adapt, distribute, sell, or create competing products from NeurofiED materials unless we agree in writing.
11. Your Content
You keep ownership of information you submit, such as answers, profile information, support messages, and AI prompts. You give us permission to host, process, display, and use that content as needed to provide, protect, support, and improve NeurofiED.
12. Service Changes And Availability
We may add, remove, or change features, content, tests, pricing, access rules, and supported platforms over time. We will try to avoid changes that materially reduce paid access during an active subscription period unless needed for security, legal, operational, or educational reasons.
We aim to keep NeurofiED available, but we do not promise uninterrupted access. Maintenance, updates, outages, app-store issues, cloud-provider issues, and internet connectivity may affect availability.
13. Privacy
Our use of personal data is explained in our Privacy Policy. By using NeurofiED, you acknowledge that personal data will be handled as described there.
14. Suspension And Termination
We may suspend or terminate access if you materially breach these terms, misuse the service, create security risk, fail to pay, or use NeurofiED in a way that may harm learners, other users, our providers, or NeurofiED Ltd.
You may stop using NeurofiED at any time. Deleting an account is separate from cancelling a paid subscription, especially for app-store subscriptions that must be cancelled through the relevant store.
15. Liability
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any liability that cannot legally be excluded.
Subject to that, NeurofiED Ltd is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of profit, loss of business, loss of goodwill, or loss of data where we have taken reasonable care. Our total liability to you for claims connected with NeurofiED in any 12-month period is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us for NeurofiED in that period or £100.
16. Educator And Organisation Customers
If an educator, tutor, school, or organisation has a separate written agreement, order form, data processing agreement, or service schedule with us, that agreement takes precedence where it conflicts with these terms.
17. Changes To These Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. We will update the effective date above and take reasonable steps to notify account holders of material changes. Continued use after the effective date means the updated terms apply.
18. Law And Disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction, except where consumer protection law gives you the right to bring a claim somewhere else.
